About \`kər-ij\

cour·age \`kər-ij\  1 : to tell the story of who you are with your whole heart

Ker-ij (courage), first came to the English dictionary from the Latin word "ker", meaning "from the heart". The original definition of courage (ker-ij) means to tell the story of who you are with your whole heart.

Ker-ij Jewelry was created in 2011 by Stacey Jo Rabiger, a Salt Lake City native obsessed with rocks, crystals and other natural elements. Inspired by the individual meanings and properties thought to coincide with each stone, Stacey Jo creates unique hand crafted jewelry with intention and meaning to heal, adorn. Design that is raw, organic chic and purposed.

You just purchased a piece of handmade jewelry that may contain delicate materials and will need a little love and care.

*I use antiqued brass metal for most of my pieces. Over time it is common for these materials to show signs of character on the patina. These should not be considered an imperfection or flaw, consider it unique charm and individuality to your jewelry. Protect your pieces of jewelry from liquids that may tarnish the metal (i.e. Sunscreen, lotions, perfumes and Burning Man… seriously… Burning Man will be the death of your jewelry).

* To prolong the life of your jewelry do not sleep, shower or do rigorous activity while wearing your beloved pieces. Some components, materials or crystals may be damaged, break down or become tangled beyond repair.

Wear and tear is normal for anything. Loved your piece and wore it to death? I may be able to extend it's life for a reasonable fee. I'm happy to offer repairs on all my pieces of jewelry. Sometimes things happen to your jewelry too soon before it's time to let them go, I'm happy to take a look at those as well. Contact me to discuss the issue and prices will be determined on case to case basis.
